Day 25 – time to tackle more folded items of clothing – your JERSEYS & PJS!
30 Day Challenge – Day 24
It’s Day 24 and we’re tackling your folded T-shirts (long sleeved and short sleeved) today!
We’re all guilty of having way too many T-shirts (unless you are way more disciplined than I am!) So for this challenge, it’s best to have a target number of “keep” items before you get stuck in! Remove all items that fall into this category from your various drawers and shelves, and create a huge pile on the bed. Have a look at each piece of clothing, one at a time, and decide if you both love it and will realistically wear it. Add remaining items to your donate pile.
30 Day Challenge – Day 23
Today we’re sorting through your HANGING CLOTHES! Leave them right where they are and work your way from left to right, aiming to subtract as many clothes as possible. Leave only the clothes that you CURRENTLY wear – they must fit, and you must love them.
Clothes that are being removed from the hangers should be placed in one of two piles:
- KEEP FOR LATER PILE – I don’t usually recommend this, but if you have beautiful clothes that are currently on the small size and you are determined to fit into them again one day, then it’s completely okay to keep these. Just not hanging up. When you open your cupboard each morning, that last thing you need is your “thin” clothes staring at you accusingly from the hangers – who needs to begin their day with that negativity? Fold them neatly in an empty suitcase for once you have reached your goal.
- DONATE PILE – as you already know, these will be added to your growing pile of items to be re-homed at the end of the challenge.
