It’s Day 10 and it’s Friday – so time for a simpler challenge, I think!
Today, we’re focusing on electrical KITCHEN APPLIANCES – with the aim of subtracting and rehoming items that are taking up precious cupboard space while not earning their keep!
For me, it’s the bread maker that’s a sticking point. We have used it a whole TWO TIMES in three years but are quite in love with the IDEA of making fresh bread that we have never been able to donate it. So this bulky piece of machinery takes up almost an entire shelf. Our juice extractor found a new home recently where it is being happily used on a regular basis – but our popcorn machine, waffle iron and various electrical chopping machines still need a good sort through.
The process is quick – open each cupboard/ drawer – see what can be donated and rehomed. Subtract those items and place them in your DONATE pile in the garage. Feel smug at how much more space you have and how you have moved on from holding onto things you don’t currently use. Drink wine.
